In this page we periodically post news related to the journal’s activity.

Recently we have detected plagiarism of some published papers in our journals and the editorial board decided to retract these papers due to plagiarism. Below one can find information on these papers:
1. We, the Editors and Publisher of the  Uzbek Mathematical Journal, have retracted the following article:
Sánchez, José M. Leibniz algebras with a set grading. Uzbek Math. J. 2018, no. 2, 74–92. DOI: 10.29229/uzmj.2018-2-7
Since publication, concerns have been raised about the originality of this article. The editors have determined that substantial portions of the paper are identical to a paper previously published by another author in the
Linear Algebra Appl. "Lie algebras with a set grading" (Calderón Martín, Antonio J. ) DOI: 10.1016/j.laa.2014.03.031.
We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.
The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on the title page as “Retracted”.

2. We, the Editors and Publisher of the Uzbek Mathematical Journal, have retracted the following article:
Sánchez-Delgado, José M. On the structure of split involutive Lie superalgebras. Uzbek Math. J. 2018, no. 3, 90–101. DOI: 10.29229/uzmj.2018-3-9
Since publication, concerns have been raised about the originality of this article. The editors have determined that substantial portions of the paper are identical to a paper previously published by the same author in the Rocky Mountain J. Math. (Calderón Martín, Antonio J.; Sánchez Delgado, José M. On the structure of split involutive Lie algebras. Rocky Mountain J. Math. 44 (2014), no. 5, 1445–1455. DOI: 10.1216/RMJ-2014-44-5-1445).
We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.
The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on the title page as “Retracted”.
